On the 4th of September, 1913, Augusta Victoria of Hohenzollern (D. Vitória) married the recently-deposed King Manuel II of Portugal. D. Vitória never officially received the title of Queen due to the King’s exile in Britain. This wine was born in honor of the “Last Queen of Portugal” and the carriage museum of the Sociedade Agrícola D.Diniz. It combines the typical genuineness of the region’s wine with the modernity of one that could have been Queen of Portugal.
