Monte da Ravasqueira hosts the 2010 National Endurance Championship |
Monte da Ravasqueira hosts the 2010 National Endurance Championship On April 16, 17 and 18 Monte da Ravasqueira hosts this year’s edition of the National Endurance Championship. The competition is included in the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) calendar of events, with a classification of “Three Stars”, the highest of all, ranking only below the European and World championships.
Besides this international contest over a distance of 160 km in which riders from Portugal Spain, France, England and Qatar take part, another four equestrian competitions will be held: a 120 km “Two Star” CEI, an 80 km “One Star” CEI and a 40 km CEP.
These events, held at Monte da Ravasqueira are open to the general public and will bring benefits to local tourism and regional products, besides constituting a means of promoting horses and equestrian sports.
